CCE is a member of a national diversity consortium (Change Agent States for Diversity) that developed, conducted and wrote a grant to support this baseline assessment. This assessment was conducted in May/June 2002 to learn about the perceptions and experiences of our employees, to identify strengths and challenges for strategic planning, and to benchmark progress. A Diversity Climate Assessment that was sent to every CCE employee (all county employees, CCE campus administration, and regional CCE employees). 1650 assessments were distributed and 836 were returned (a 51% return rate).
