A Guide to Parenting Education Resources for Hispanic/Latino Families II
Available through ParentLink. The guide includes newly published Spanish titles and is intended to supplement the original guide, published in April 2002. Both guides are intended to assist professionals who work with families in selecting educational materials. A team of parenting professionals reviewed each resource. Listings include a description and reviewer's comments. Recommended materials have been added to ParentLink's library and are now available for loan. Among those: · Age Appropriate Play: The First Four Years (four-video set) · Amor & Limites: Una Guia Para Ser Padres Creativos/Love & Limits: Guidance Tools for Creative Parenting (book) · The Nurturing Father's Program (curriculum) · Lo Hago Por Su Bien/I'm Doing This for Your Own Good (video). The guide was published with funding from the Missouri Children's Trust Fund. Printed copies are available by contacting ParentLink at 1-800-552-8522 or parentlink@missouri.edu.
